Bungalow Love: Stairs and First Bedroom

The House

The house is a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalow in Takoma Park, MD and it is a fixer-upper, in all senses of the word. The first floor is divided into a main residence (that connects to the second floor and the basement) and a separate one bedroom apartment, which we will be renting out once renovations are complete. We have done a lot of work (with professional help) including foundation repairs, gutting the first floor bathroom, the main kitchen, and the kitchen in the apartment. One day it will all be finished, but until then we'll enjoy the ride!
